Spring is here. And it's extraordinary.

The first English asparagus from Hampshire. Wild garlic from the Somerset woodlands, here for a few short weeks. The last blood oranges from Sicily before the season turns. Spring produce is fleeting, specific, and worth paying attention to.

Hugh Lowe Farms, Kent

Hugh Lowe Farms have been growing soft fruit on the same Kent soil since the 1890s, four generations of the same family. Their Jubilee strawberries are red right through to the core, fragrant before you bite, and picked the day before your delivery. The same farm that supplies Wimbledon.

"London Veg Box started out of a frustration with the eternal summer of supermarkets. Everything available. Nothing worth eating. So I built the box I wanted. Vegetables in season, from growers I trust, picked hours before delivery. Once you taste food grown like this, it's hard to go back."
